The Potential of Fur

Some take a strong stance against fur use, due to ethics and animal welfare concerns. However, from a purely environmental perspective the use of fur can be seen as very sustainable. As a material, natural fur leaves a very small environmental footprint, when made under good conditions. The natural properties mean that fur is not prone to collect dirt and odors, and thus requires minimal treatment. It is also a very durable material, and fur items are quite commonly passed down throughout generations, ensuring longevity.
