S.N.S. Herning

S.N.S. Herning is a family owned manufacturer that has been running since 1931. It is based in Herning, Denmark, and specialises in high quality knitwear. The founder, Søren Nielsen Skyt, started off the business with his so-called “Fisherman sweater”, which was a robust and durable garment, meant to protect its wearer from rough weather at sea. The sweater was a result of Nielsen Skyt’s discovery of his “bobble” knitting technique, which increased the insulating abilities of garments.
